John Bennett (n4xi) > The Nisbet Inn located at Nisbet Station in upper Vanderburgh County. Taken on 17 February 2007. The New York Central once ran by this location on it's Evansville - Mount Carmel line. Taken at sunset, wind and drifting snow was blowing fiercely from the NW with temps around 30 degrees.

John Bennett (n4xi) > 17 February 2007, in the upper part of Vanderburgh county. Looking towards Evansville near the junction of Nisbet Station Road and the Big Cynthiana Road (SR 65). The view to the NW was equally interesting, but the wind was blowing so hard that I could not stabilize the camera on the tripod. To get this shot, I had to use my body to block the camera and tripod so that it would not move during the long exposure.

John Bennett (n4xi) > 18 February 2007, same location as previous frame. At one time a very large barn and farm house stood here. They were interesting structures in that they never had been modernized. Unfortunately part of the barn blew down in a storm with the rest to follow a few years later. What happened to the house I'm not sure, but believe it burned. Have been by here many times on the bike.
