December 2004 Blizzard : The great blizzard of December 2004. The snow started on the morning of the 22nd and ended in the early morning hours of the 23rd. Pictures are from the 23rd and the 24th of December. Biggest snow I've been in since I was at Ft. Campbell in the late 70's.

Hillary Comes To Indiana : Hillary Clinton at Central High School, Evansville (IN) on 05 May 2008. This was the day before the Indiana primary election. Mrs. Clinton arrived late (9:45PM) and the rally did not end until nearly 11PM. Since I live one-half block from the HS, I could not resist the urge to go and try to take some pictures. Glad I did. It also brought back many memories of when I worked at the ABC New Bureau in Washington.

Fireworks 04 July 2008 : Evansville Riverfront/Dress Plaza fireworks display, 04 July 2008, part of the Evansville Freedom Festival. Back in the 1980s, when the Freedom Festival was at it's peak, this fireworks display was said to be the largest in the nation. There are probably displays as large or larger now, but it still remains as much of an event now as then. Kudos to Clarence Mann, part of our CBS 44 team, who was a major player in getting all this to come together.
